An ultrafiltration centrifuge tube is a centrifuge tube with a membrane at the bottom, which is a biological separation device in centrifugation based on the size or molecular weight of the molecules and particles in the sample (i.e., when rotating at high speed, larger molecules or particles are pushed to the outer edge of the tube and smaller molecules pass through the membrane). The product consists of 3 parts: cap, ultrafiltration insert and tube body, and is characterized by high separation efficiency, ease of use and high concentration ratio (80-100x), which makes it easy to concentrate and extract the target product from dilute and complex mixed samples. Ultrafiltration tubes are widely used for protein concentration and purification, sample preparation for proteomics and genomics research, isolation of small molecules such as drugs and metabolites from biological samples, and separation and concentration of proteins, enzymes and other food ingredients in the food industry, so they are also called protein ultrafiltration centrifuge tubes or ultrafiltration centrifuge tubes.

B&M® ultrafiltration tubes are made of PES and RCE membranes, which have a wide pH range, low protein binding, high flow, and high compatibility. The unique design and manufacturing process can reduce membrane contamination due to solvent polarization, prevent sample loss due to excessive centrifugation, shorten centrifugation time, increase sample recovery (>90%), and maintain a soft concentration environment to preserve protein activity and conformation. We offer a wide range of MWCO ultrafiltration tubes (3KDa, 5KDa, 10kDa, 30kDa, 50kDa, 100kDa), 15 mL centrifugal filters for fast and efficient concentration and purification of biological samples up to 15 mL, and individual non-sterile packages to meet the needs of general use laboratories; In addition, we support OEM order.

Typical Applications
