Product Description

Solid-phase extraction (abbreviated as TPE) is a sample pre-treatment method based on liquid-solid separation and extraction, was developed based on a combination of liquid-solid extraction and liquid chromatography techniques. It is now a widespread and popular sample pretreatment method that separates the target compounds from the sample matrix by the forces generated between the binding functional groups of the filler and the compounds to be separated, and then achieves the goal of separating and enriching the target compounds by eluting with eluent or heated desorption.

Product Features

--Prevent cross-contamination, anti-fogging vacuum tank design, easy and fast operation.
--No phase separation facilitates analyte collection and allows for small sample volumes.
--The glass vacuum tank is formed by quartz glass mold, has uniform wall thickness, and can withstand high negative pressure over -80kPa.
--The extraction column tray and sample collection rack are made of special polymer material, which is beautiful and corrosion-resistant.
--The top cover of the vacuum machine is made of imported polymer material, which is resistant to strong acid and alkali.
--The pressure regulating valve is corrosion-resistant, high and low temperature, and durable.

Installation and acceptance of products

If there are signs of external damage on the packaging, please carefully inspect the appearance of the device, if you find signs of damage, immediately inform us or your local supplier, and explain that the solid-phase extraction device may have been damaged in transit.
1. Carefully remove the solid-phase extraction device from the case and place it on the operating table.
2. Connect the nozzle of the SHZ-III pump (sold separately) to the nozzle of the solids removal device using a hose.
Connect the gas nozzle of the SHZ-| (sold separately) to the gas nozzle of the device for the extraction of the solid phase using a hose.
3. Make sure the "Extraction Column Tray Assembly" is securely fastened to the top of the glass cylinder.
4. Set all fluid switches on the column pan to the "OFF" position.
5. Tighten the pressure adjustment/release knob clockwise.
6. Set the pressure setting knob of the SHZ-III pump to 75 kpa.
7. Open the power switch of the SHZ-III pump and watch the digital display on the pump panel and the vacuum pressure indicator on the pressure gauge of the solid phase extraction device slowly rise to 75kPa, after which the pump will stop working.
9. Turn off the pump.
10, Counterclockwise, loosen the "exhaust column tray" on the "pressure/release" knob to release the negative pressure in the glass cylinder.
11, when the pressure gauge shows a pressure close to "0", that the acceptance of the device was successful.
If acceptance fails for possible reasons.
-The extraction column pallet is not closed.
-The valve is not pressed tightly against the exhaust column tray.
-The air nozzle on the side of the glass cylinder is not tightly screwed, which may cause air leakage.

Product Usage

In order to facilitate the user's factory product, has been installed in all solid phase extraction device, the user only needs to be based on the selection of different tubes and make the appropriate settings, and will be installed on the pump and extraction column can be used.

I. Adjust the height of the universal tube tray according to the tube length
--Снимите блок поддона для экстракционной колонки со стеклянного цилиндра и положите его плашмя на операционный стол.
--Remove the extraction column tray assembly from the glass cylinder and lay it flat on the operating table.
-Remove the tube rack from the glass vacuum cylinder and place it on the operating table. Adjust the height of the "Universal Tube Tray" according to the length of the selected tubes so that the distance from the surface of the plate to the top edge of the "Glass Cylinder" is approximately 10 mm longer than the length of the tubes, and then use the 3 "Q-Clips" to attach the "Q-Clip" to the "Universal Tube Tray". Then, use the three "Q-Clips" to snap them into the nearest positioning slots on the three supports under the "Universal Test Tube Tray".
--According to the diameter of the selected tube, select the suitable "Tube Rack Plate" and place it on the top of the "Tube Rack" with the "Q-card".

II. Exploitation
1、 Carefully place the adjusted tube rack into the beaker.
2、Insert the selected tubes into the tube rack respectively.
3、Connect the air nozzle of the SHZ-| vacuum pump (sold separately) via buffer bottle and connector for glass cylinder nozzle assembly with vacuum hose.
4. Carefully place the column tray on top of the beaker and make sure that each outlet is aligned with the corresponding tube.
5. Turn all fluid line switches on the column tray to the OFF position.
6. Insert the selected speakers into the column ports of the fluid line switches in the order of priority.
7. Tighten the pressure adjustment valve in front of the extractor tray clockwise.
8.Turn the pressure adjustment knob of the SHZ-III to the desired negative pressure, turn on the power switch of the SHZ-III, and then the SHZ-III will begin to operate. Note: It is best not to exceed the pressure of -65 kPa (or -20 Hg) to avoid damaging the glass vacuum chamber.
9. Keep an eye on the pressure indicator on the SHZ-III pump (or the pressure gauge on the extraction tray). The negative pressure will gradually increase until it reaches the value set by the pressure control knob. Note: If the negative pressure cannot rise, apply gentle pressure to the extraction tray and to the pressure in the glass vacuum chamber.
10、Inject the sample or reagent to be extracted into the extraction column.
11, respectively, clockwise rotation of the corresponding extraction column connector liquid switch, the sample will be in the extraction column under negative pressure through the extraction column flow to the next tube. Adjust the angle of rotation of the switch to control the flow rate of the sample.
12. After the sample extraction is complete, turn off the vacuum pump. Turn the "Pressure Adjustment Release Valve" counterclockwise to relieve negative pressure in the glass vacuum chamber.
13. Carefully remove the column tray and tube rack and place them on the table.
14. Carefully remove the column from the column connector for the next step in elution of the sample.
15、Remove the solvent from the tubes and rinse the tubes well for reuse.
16、In order to save the cost of the SPE column, the SPE column should be rinsed with a flushing solution after each use to ensure the activity of its packaging.

※ When the SPE column is flushed and activated, the rinse solution can be drained directly into a glass vacuum chamber without a tube and then into a clean tube. Repeat the above steps to collect the required amount of sample. Note: At this time, there must be a "buffer bottle" between the SPE device and the pump, otherwise the eluting liquid will be sucked into the pump and cause damage to the pump.
