Mycotoxins are a group of toxic metabolites with a similar chemical structure produced by fungi in food or feed. These toxins, commonly found in moldy grains and oils, their derivatives and feeds, are highly carcinogenic, toxic to humans and animal internal organs, and in severe cases can cause disease and death in humans and other animals. Mycotoxins that cause disease in humans and animals mainly include aflatoxin, citrinine, Fusarium toxins (fumonisin, trichothecenes, lewisin and enonicotic acid, butyrophenolide, etc., etc.), ochratoxin A, patulin, trichothecenes, zearalenone, ergot alkaloids. 

The BM Mycotoxin Multi Purification Column contains a multiple adsorption matrix, which can quickly and selectively adsorb lipids, proteins, pigments and other impurities in the samples without adsorbing the test components, so as to achieve the rapid purification of mycotoxin compounds, and at the same time, cooperate with the LC-MS/MS or HPLC detection device to achieve rapid detection and quantitative and accurate target.

Typical Applications

Remove the sample, add the extract to the tube, insert the end of the rubber-tipped cleaning column into the tube, press the bottom of the tube, the purified liquid will reach the top of the cleaning column through the package, pour out the liquid, dry and re-dissolve the liquid, then it can be tested on the machine.

High-speed homogenization (≥10,000 rpm) for 5 minutes, vigorous shaking (200-300 rpm) for 20 minutes, or ultrasonic extraction for 30 minutes, the filtrate was filtered and collected with filter paper for rapid quantitative analysis or placed in a centrifuge (≥7000 rpm for 20 minutes) to collect the supernatant.

Peanuts and their by-products, nuts, flour, wheat and other food crops

Sample Cleaning

Step 1: Add 5 mL of sample extract to the tube.
Step 2: Insert the rubber tip of the cleaning column from the top of the tube into the tube and press the column against the bottom of the tube.
Step 3: Pour the purified sample extract from the top of the column into the sample bottle or EP tube.
Step 4: Take 2 mL of purified extract, blow it out until dry, re-dissolve in 1 mL or 0.5 mL of the original mobile phase, pass through a microporous filter membrane, and analyze on the instrument.
