WCX Column Plates for Solid Phase Extraction

B&M® WCX is a hybrid column for solid-phase extraction with weak cation exchange and hydrophobicity, containing slightly acidic functional groups of carboxylic acids. It is used to pre-process samples of highly basic compounds such as quaternary ammonium. It is a weak cation exchange, hybrid, water-wetted polymer adsorbent that is stable in the pH range from 0 to 14.
WCX has all the benefits of HLB. A stable, highly selective solid-phase extraction method using WCX allows monitoring, validation and quantification of highly basic compounds such as quaternary ammonium in a variety of sample matrices.
Equivalent to Waters Oasis WCX.

    WCX is a hybrid low-cation exchange adsorbent based on PS/DVB with large pores, modified with carboxyl groups. The benzene ring has strong hydrophobicity, and the carboxyl groups provide a weak cation exchange capacity, making it suitable for the extraction of weak cationic compounds.
